ABOUT

A scholarship-awarded writer with a pedigree in the written word.
William Inglis started his writing adventure in 2011. He completed a blog post every day for a year. From there he studied English and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University after being awarded the Elizabeth Richards Scholarship for Excellence in Writing.
During his time in the Welsh town, he and a highly skilled team of editors and writers set up Student Beans: a university magazine that engaged with student interests. William became Section Editor and led a team of wonderful writers until the magazine was bought by Hexjam in 2015.
As the former Editor of Portfolio, Dorset's physical luxury-lifestyle magazine, William was in charge of copy, distribution and advertising.
Freelance clients have included: Smart Home Rentals, Candlefox, Lighting Interiors Online, UK Soccer Shop, Zico Lighting and The Dining Club (responsible for Tastecard).
On 6th November 2018, William began his latest challenge: a full time writing position with Saga Travel, bringing locations to life.
When he's not writing about the Gibraltar Rock, Norwegian cuisine or the changeable weather of the Pyrenees, William can be found with a camera in his hands or playing guitar in the south-east of England.
