"Writing about everything...
...from wine tours in Tuscany to emergency lighting in Wembley Stadium"
A scholarship-awarded writer with a pedigree in the written word.
William Inglis first started his writing adventure in 2011. He completed a blog post every day for a year. From there he studied English and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University after being awarded the Elizabeth Richards Scholarship for Excellence in Writing.
During his time in the Welsh town he and a highly skilled team of editors and writers set up Student Beans: a university magazine that engaged with student interests. William became Section Editor and led a team of wonderful writers until the magazine was bought by Hexjam in 2015.
As the former Editor of Portfolio, Dorset's physical, luxury-lifestyle magazine, William was in charge of content, distribution and advertising.
Freelance clients have included: Smart Home Rentals, Candlefox, Lighting Interiors Online, UK Soccer Shop, Zico Lighting and The Dining Club (responsible for the Tastecard).
On 6th November 2019, William began his latest challenge: a full time writing position within Saga Cruises' shore excursion team, bringing locations to life.
When he's not writing about the Gibraltar Rock, Norwegian cuisine or the changeable weather of the Pyrenees, William can be found with a camera in his hands or playing guitar in the south east of England.
Despite being born in Norwich, William supports their rival club Ipswich Town.
From the physics of ghosts, to productivity in the workplace: The best pieces are thoroughly researched and engagingly written.
Need to keep your clients up to date with regular, informal posts? Blogging is a great ways of building up a loyal audience.
Good punctuation can be the difference between 'Let's eat grandma,' and, 'Let's eat, grandma.'
