A scholarship-awarded writer with a pedigree in the written word.
William Inglis started his writing adventure in 2011. He completed a blog post every day for a year. From there he studied English and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University after being awarded the Elizabeth Richards Scholarship for Excellence in Writing.
As the former editor of Portfolio, Dorset's physical luxury-lifestyle magazine, William was in charge of copy, distribution and advertising.
Freelance clients have included: Smart Home Rentals, Candlefox, Lighting Interiors Online, UK Soccer Shop, Zico Lighting and The Dining Club (responsible for Tastecard).
On 6th November 2018, William began a full-time writing position with Saga Travel, bringing locations to life.
Three years of brochure, product page, social media, UX and communications copy later, William left Saga Travel and joined Expense Reduction Analysts as a copywriter.
Today you will find him at Gooey Digital, a Canterbury-based agency where marketing sticks.
